Wild Newfoundland Adventure

18,000 Miles of Coastline, and a Story for Every Step of the Way

Newfoundland is a place apart. Known locally as ‘The Rock’, it is a massive island cut off from the rest of Canada, in the wild north Atlantic. In the winter it is buffeted by storms; in the short summer icebergs float by and the air fills with the cries of seabirds. Such a place breeds hardy folk renowned for stories, with more than a hint of Blarney from their Irish (and Viking) ancestors.

Whether you are kissing a cod-fish, getting ‘screeched in’, listening to fiddle music in a pub, or visiting Viking remains – you’ll know, this definitely ain’t Kansas!

A Unique Landscape

Newfoundland is windswept, brooding, romantic – an island on the edge of a continent. To be there is to connect with a certain wildness that is rare in the modern world.

Your Choice of Adventure Options Along the Way

Whether your idea of fun is a tasting tour of the best local seafood restaurants, a serious hike into Gros Morne National Park, or a boat trip to see whales and puffins, we have optional activities to suit every taste and ability.
